Above: a Rainbow Shark named Monty. |
We still don't know if he's a male !? But if he's a female, then she'll still be Monty. Named for the "mascot" at San Diego State University, where both Tom and Nevin went to school. The school's colors are Red and Black, like Monty. This week Monty was flashing around Tom's 55-gallon Angelfish Aquarium, and just as this picture was snapped, Monty dove into an opening in a ceramic ornament. Click here for more about these aquarium ornaments. Click here to see a bigger picture. Click here to buy a Rainbow Shark like Monty. |

Above: a Male Betta Fish named Rufus. |
Rufus is now a permanent resident of the Angelfish Aquarium. He's doing very well. He spends a lot of his time chasing away Serpae Tetras and bluffing Angelfish that are much bigger than he is. He is very brave and very red with a few neon blue highlights. Rufus has a couple of kinks in his spine. Can you see the lumps in the pattern on the side of his body? Tom and Nevin talk about Rufus' posture during this show. Click here to buy a Red Betta like Rufus. |
