"Malawi" a Video by Alda
Click on the white triangle in the the video, shown above. This video seems to have been taken in Lake Malawi, which is in East Africa and is the home of many species of interesting cichlids, like the ones in this video. Tom and Nevin were surprised to see the high density of fish. At about 01:25 of this video you can see a long slender fish with horizontal stripes capture and eat a smaller fish. At about 01:35 you can see a Nimbochromis livingstonii that is "sleeping" and at about 01:43 wakes up very quickly to eat a small fish! At about 02:12 you can see a large dark female collecting her fry back into her mouth, and she does it again at about 02:22. The Bailey Brothers, Tom and Nevin, encourage you to call during the show and talk about this video with them.

The last mystery fish was the Keyhole Cichlid, Cleithracara maronii.
I have little to say about this one, other than the fact that it is seldom seen, despite the fact it might be right under your nose.
Special thanks, as usual, to Jourdan in Connecticut for emailing us these links.
